We offer a range of services. Here's a brief summary of each - for more information click on the heading for the service you are interested in.

Mid Devon Shopmobility

This scheme allows people with limited mobility to use Manual and Powered Wheelchairs and Electric powered scooters to access local shops and use the town centre facilities. There is a registration fee, and a returnable deposit required.

Tiverton & District Ring & Ride Bus

This is a 15 seater minibus which operates a service in and around Tiverton. Monday to Friday. It is a door to door service with a professional driver who will help passengers on and off the bus, using the tail lift if necessary. Manual or electric wheelchairs or scooters can be accommodated in safety and comfort using tracking to secure them in place. All seats have seat-belts. Passengers are charged a set fare.

Voluntary Car/Accessible Car Schemes

Voluntary Car Schemes - Culm/Tiverton

This scheme relies on volunteers providing transport using their own cars. Passengers are charged by the mile.

Voluntary Accessible Car Scheme

This is a four seater vehicle specially adapted to carry a wheelchair. This vehicle is driven by trained volunteer drivers, and passengers are charged by the mile.

Community Minibus Hire

The minibuses are available at weekends, after 5:30pm or for some time during the middle of the day. The minibuses have a tail lift and other safety equipment to ensure passengers are carried in comfort. There are up to 15 seats some of which will need to be removed to accommodate wheelchairs.

Fare Car Scheme (F9)

The Fare Car has several journey choices each way, six days of the week (excluding public holidays) access to shops, work, leisure facilities, doctors, chemists & adult education.

It offers a taxi style service at special fares, helpful, friendly and licensed drivers with modern comfortable vehicles, free membership of the fare car travel club. You must join to use the Fare Car.

Other Services - Meeting Room Hire

Our Meeting Room can comfortably accommodate 12 around a table (maximum 20). The meeting room is situated within our purpose-built centre in Phoenix Lane Multi-Storey Car Park, Tiverton.

The centre is fully accessible making it ideal for groups whose members have mobility problems.

Out & About Bus

This is a fully accessible 8 seater vehicle for passengers who need to use wheelchairs. It is available between 10.30am and 3.15pm and after 5pm weekdays, and all weekends. It is driven by volunteers.

We have access to a variety of leaflets and directories giving help and advice for people travelling to and from the Mid Devon area.
