The Ring & Ride Bus
This is a 15-seater minibus which provides a door-to-door service with a professional driver who will help passengers on and off the bus, using a tail lift if necessary. Manual or electric wheelchairs or scooters can be accommodated in safety and comfort using tracking to secure them in place. All seats have seat-belts.
Who can use the scheme?
Frail elderly people or people with a disability who find public transport very difficult to use. Passengers may bring an escort.
How much will it cost?
The flat return fare within Tiverton is £1.50. For other journeys please refer to our timetable on the right.
Charges are reviewed annually in June.
To arrange a journey
Ring the Co-ordinator on 01884 242099. Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
If we are unable to take your call, please leave your name and telephone number and we will ring back. Please try to give at least 24 hours notice.
